A reminder that students should please bring lunches that do not require microwaving and if parents or older students buy DIV 2 students’ lunch/drinks/snacks please drop them at the office.

Halloween
On Thursday Oct 31 students are invited to wear their costumes for the day.
There will be a Costume Contest – Judging categories are
- Scariest costume
- Best Homemade costume
- Funniest costume
- We welcome treats for classroom celebrations, but ask for them to be store bought and not homemade.
- Please remind students to be respectful and considerate of others costumes or choice not to wear one.
- This is a good time to remind students to look with their eyes not their hands.
Please keep in mind school rules around Halloween costumes:
- No weapons of any kinds (not even pretend ones)
- No full face coverage (masks, bodysuits, etc.)...face paint is totally okay!
- Be sensitive with “gore”...too much/too realistic can be a trigger for some.
- Learning needs to continue!! If students can’t sit and work comfortably in their costume…then it’s not school appropriate.
