Learn How to Access Report Cards, Attendance Information and M​ore

Report cards are being shared electronically and will be available through MyCBE on January 27.  

Families can view, download or print online report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 students on Monday, Jan. 27 until May 30, 2025 through MyCBE.

Within MyCBE, families can also view student information, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades and attendance information.

Staffing Updates

We have a few updates to share regarding staffing changes at Sherwood to ensure continued support for our students. These changes will take effect on Tuesday Jan. 28, the first day of semester two.

• Art Coverage: We’re pleased to share that art expert Mrs. Amasio will be covering Ms. Madison’s classes during her upcoming maternity leave, ensuring a smooth transition for students.
• Grade 8 & 9 Humanities: To maintain subject-specific expertise, Ms. Renaud, Mr. Laflamme, Ms. V and Ms. Bal are restructuring their Humanities 8 and 9 assignments.
• Student Services Support: Ms. Merlin John will be stepping in to cover some of Ms. Shields’ teaching assignments. This adjustment will allows Ms. Shields to dedicate more time to supporting students in her student services role.

On Tuesday Jan. 28, semester two will begin with a short homeroom, where students will walk through their schedules. Option change forms will also be available at that time for those who need them.

Signed option change forms need to be returned to the office by Thursday Jan 30, 3pm

Parking – Please Do NOT drop or pick up students in the staff parking lot

Reminder the parking lot is for Sherwood and Banting and Best staff ONLY – please do not use the parking lot for drop off and pick up as it is a safety issue for our students.  When we choose convenience over safety, we are putting students at risk, and we all have an interest in keeping students safe.

Book Donation

Sherwood will be collecting gently used books for our first ever used book sale fundraiser. Collection will be on going until May 2025, with the sale being planned for the end of May.

Winter Weather Guidelines

• Brrr -  Winter is here 
• Please make sure students are dressed for the weather!
• Students will be going outside unless the temperature reaches -20 including windchill, in those cases DIV 2 students will have an indoor lunch 
• Reminder that DIV 3 students are allowed off campus during the lunch hour, but are expected back at school and in class at 12:19 pm

 Reminder- Sherwood is excited to have athletics at our school.  CBE Students are welcome to watch the first HOME game. All students who wish to attend other games MUST be accompanied by their own Legal Guardian. Students cannot be under the supervision of someone else’s Guardian, it must be their own or they will be asked to leave. All students must be under the direct supervision of their own Guardian at all away games.
