It’s Not Goodbye, It’s See Ya Later!

As we end another school year, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Thank you for entrusting us with your children's education and growth. Your support, encouragement, and partnership have been invaluable throughout this journey.

Together, we have navigated challenges and celebrated successes, creating a warm and nurturing community for our students. Your involvement in our school community enriches the experience for everyone, and we are deeply appreciative of your contributions.

As we look forward to a well-deserved summer break, we want to extend our best wishes to each of you. May this time be filled with joy, relaxation, and cherished moments with loved ones.

Thank you once again for a wonderful school year.

Thank you

Thank You to Calgary Transit Peace Officers: we’ve had some special guests at our school "on the lookout for good behavior and encouraging our kids not to jaywalk." Calgary Public Transit Officers have asked us to be extra careful and avoid jaywalking when heading to the bus stops. Not only is jaywalking dangerous for us, but it also poses significant risks for bus drivers and other road users. Please encourage your child to show their Archer spirit by following this simple safety rule and using designated crosswalks. By doing so, they can help keep everyone safe and demonstrate their commitment to being responsible community members.

Summer Break

As we approach the summer break, we wanted to share some important resources to support the well-being of our students and families.

We understand that summer can be both an exciting and sometimes a challenging time, and we want to ensure that everyone has access to what they need. Here are some valuable resources:

Mental Health Support:

Access to mental health services is crucial. for immediate assistance.

Online Resources:

Websites like "Mind Your Mind" and "Build Them Up" offer a range of tools and information to help manage stress and promote mental wellness.

Community Programs:

The City of Calgary, the Calgary Public Library and YCC in Ogden all have excellent programs designed to keep young minds active and engaged over the summer months.

Additionally, we are excited to share an Indigenous Community Resource Guide to support our families. Please see that attached guide to find information on Indigenous connections and resources.
