Washroom Update
We regret to inform our school community that two washroom facilities designated for students who identify as girls are currently out of service due to extensive vandalism and resulting water damage. Repairs are underway, and we are working closely with maintenance teams to ensure the facilities are restored as quickly as possible. In the interim, students may access the Archer Square washroom, which remains fully operational. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time.
Wandering Students
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, we’ve noticed an increase in students in Grades 7–9 leaving class without permission, wandering the hallways, or entering other classrooms without authorization. While we understand that students’ focus and resiliency can wane as summer approaches, it’s essential that we maintain a strong learning environment in the weeks leading up to final exams and Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs). To help reduce disruptions and maximize learning time, all students will now be required to carry a hall pass or note from their teacher when leaving class for the washroom or a body break. We ask for your support in reinforcing the importance of being in class, staying focused, and making the most of this critical academic period.
Grade 9 Business Fair
On Wednesday May 7, students will be selling items to raise money for their Grade 9 Farewell. All students Grades 4-9 are invited to purchase items from $0.25 - $3.00.
