Archer Arrow Feb 26 – Mar 1 

Please remind students that ALL bags, including fanny packs, satchels, purses, crossbody bags, backpacks, must be in the student's locker. They are not to be taken from class to class – the exception is for medical requirements – (epi-pens and inhalers).  

Families and students are reminded that it is important and expected for students to arrive at class on time, prepared, and ready to learn.

NEW – Volunteer Applications – MyCBE Account 

As of February 9, 2024, you will be able to apply to be a volunteer via your MyCBE Account (SchoolEngage – Forms). In addition to completing your registration form online you also will be required to upload two pieces of government ID. Once you receive your CPS clearance letter, you can upload a copy to your MyCBE account.  

Casino Fundraiser 

Sherwood’s next casino fundraiser will take place on Saturday May 4th to Sunday May 5th! This is our main form of fundraising at Sherwood and all the money raised goes towards enhancing classrooms and educational programming for your children. Please save the date and consider volunteering some of your time that weekend. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!  

Scholastic Book Fair  

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair the week of March 18th-22nd.  Last year our book fair raised over $1,500 which we used to buy new books for our learning commons and classrooms.  If you would like to volunteer to help, make our event a success, please contact ejmcniven@cbe.ab.ca. 

Volleyball Season 

Reminder for fans - Volleyball season has begun. GO SHERWOOD GO!!!! 

Students are welcome to attend the early games hosted at Sherwood but will need to be directly supervised by THEIR Guardian to stay and watch the late games. 

Students will be asked to leave if they are not under the direct supervision of THEIR own Guardian at home and away games.
