The 2025 theme for Black History Month is: “Black Legacy and Leadership."

Thank You Notes

Heartfelt Thank you to each and every one of the staff and students for making our school open house such a fabulous event. Your hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm truly shone through, and it was evident in every corner of the event. From the thoughtful presentations to the warm welcoming atmosphere, your contributions made this a memorable occasion for all involved.

Thank you for your continued commitment to making our school such a wonderful place for learning and growth.

Let’s continue to build on this momentum and keep making our school an even greater place for all.

Parking – Please Do NOT drop or pick up students in the staff parking lot

Reminder the parking lot is for Sherwood and Banting and Best staff ONLY – please do not use the parking lot for drop off and pick up as it is a safety issue for our students.  When we choose convenience over safety, we are putting students at risk, and we all have an interest in keeping students safe.

On February 22, 2025, from 4-7 The Mustard Seed is hosting Coldest Night of the Year, a special fundraising event dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness across Canada. We would love to have you join us at Banting & Best School to walk 2km to 5km around the community of Ogden-Lynnwood and enjoy a warm meal together.
