Christmas Food Hampers for Seniors 

Christmas is not far away! Every year at Ogden 50+ we help isolated and low-income seniors with the Christmas Hamper Program.   These hampers make it possible for everyone in our community to have a happy Christmas.   You can be part of this wonderful activity by donating for the hampers, if possible please send items to Sherwood School where students will be collecting for our seniors.

Deadline: Friday, Dec. 6, 2024

Here is a general list for examples of food to give:

• Pancake Mix
• Pancake Syrup
• Rice – Small bag/ Box
• Pasta – Spaghetti
• Pasta Sauce
• Soup – Cans
• Crackers – Saltines
• Canned Goods – Vegetables / Fruit/ Tuna
• Juice- Apple or Orange – 1 L
• Peanut Butter
• Jam
• Cookies – Shortbread, Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal

Lost and Found

Lost and found items will be on display during parent teacher interviews, and the winter showcase, after that the items will be packed up and donated, please make sure to take a moment to look for any items that may have been misplaced.

Winter Weather Guidelines

Brrr -  Winter is here

Please make sure students are dressed for the weather!

Students will be going outside unless the temperature reaches -20 including windchill, in those cases DIV 2 students will have an indoor lunch

Reminder that DIV 3 students are allowed off campus during the lunch hour, but are expected back at school and in class at 12:19pm

Athletics Reminder

Sherwood is excited to have athletics at our school.  CBE Students are welcome to watch the first HOME game. All students who wish to attend other games MUST be accompanied by their own Legal Guardian. Students cannot be under the supervision of someone else’s Guardian, it must be their own or they will be asked to leave. All students must be under the direct supervision of their own Guardian at all away games.
